Watkins Grove Farm

ABOUT US

Watkins Grove Farm was birthed out of Dr. Adriane Watkins Mingo’s vision of providing affordable, safe, sustainably produce for all. For over 35 years, Adriane’s father, Leroy Watkins has grown produce and shared it with family, neighbors and friends. In March of 2021, with the help of her father, and other family members, Watkins Grove Farm was born. The farm provides delicious, nutritious, affordable produce where no herbicides, insecticides, or pesticides are used in the growing process. To remain true to the farm’s mission, produce is provided through a vibrant network of CSA memberships and local farmer’s markets. On the Farm we grow asparagus, beets, cabbage, cucumbers, eggplant, green beans, kale, lettuce, okra, onions, peppers, potatoes, summer squash, strawberries, and tomatoes. Our mission is to raise the best tasting and finest quality vegetables for the local community while maintaining affordability.  Using only natural and sustainable farming methods - no herbicides, pesticides or insecticides -  leaves a smaller carbon footprint while simultaneously improving the health of its customers and the environment.
