Ebonee Bailey, MBA

Originally from Providence, Rhode Island, Ebonee relocated to Charlotte, NC in 2013 to attend Johnson & Wales University (JWU).  She received her Bachelor's of Science degree in Sports Management/Event Planning in 2015, and her Master's of Business Administration focused on Hospitality in May 2018.  In 2021, Ebonee began working as the Executive Director of The Bulb Gallery, a local nonprofit serving food insecure areas with fresh, local produce.  It was in this position Ebonee really discovered her passion for food access, accessibility and security.  In 2022, Ebonee joined the Food Policy Council, and in November 2023, she began working for The Urban League of Central Carolina’s as a Program Director overseeing SNAP Education in Charlotte and 4 surrounding counties. As a member of the Charlotte Mecklenburg Food Policy Council, Ebonee is dedicated to continuing to create a sustainable, equitable, and healthy local food system for all!
